APPOINTMENT On the basis of can. 477 §2, Bishop Joseph ZEN, SDB, has appointed Rev. Gabriel LAM Cheuk-wai as Vicar General from 12th to 18th May 2004, during which period Bishop ZEN himself, Bishop John TONG, VG, and Rev. Dominic CHAN, VG, will be away from Hong Kong. III. FUND-RAISING FOR DIOCESAN AUDIO-VISUAL CENTRE (DAVC) Bishop Joseph ZEN, SDB, is asking all parishes to take up a special collection (by any convenient means, e.g., placing a donation box in the church or taking up a second Sunday collection) during all Masses on Sunday, 16 May 2004 to meet the expenses for the production and promotion of the Catholic TV programme “God goes on TV”, undertaken by DAVC. This year a part of the funds collected will be used for the production of the DVD and VCD of the Mandarin and English versions of the aforementioned programme (including old and new titles), to serve mainland China and overseas Catholic communities. Donations can also be made by mail. Cheques should be made payable to “Diocesan Audio-Visual Centre” and sent to its address at Catholic Diocese Centre, 10/F, 16 Caine Road, Hong Kong.
