Which bible quote can help you most in difficult situations?

Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk in the darkest valley, I fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

This bible quote gave me consolation during the accident of my father two years ago. It was so unexpected during the Christmas party of their tricycle association when the accident occurred. Mother and I, being far from home, found it so difficult to help my father. It took a lot of courage and inner strength as well as physical ones to carry on through the days of healing.

And through that time, I didn't lose faith that everything will be fine as long as we pray to our Lord and put our full trust in him. Through God’s love and care we were able to surpass the trials in life.

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways, says the Lord. For just as the heavens are exalted above the earth, so also are my ways exalted above your ways, and my thoughts above your thoughts.”

I remember the time when I kept on questioning God, through this bible quote God told me to wait for his timing. He has delivered me from my past specially through bad times.

I have seen God use trials to build me up, answer different prayers, open doors, help others. I have seen many miracles where I knew it was only God who could have done this. When I was worrying, the Lord gave me comfort, encouragement, motivation, and he was working behind the scenes. If as believers we are burdened when our brothers and sisters suffer, imagine how God feels. Always remember that he loves us and he reminds us time after time through his words that he will never forsake us.

In him who is the source of my strength I have strength for everything” (Philippians 4:13). This verse is encouraging for me specially when difficulties come my way. The Lord is always the source of my strength.

When I faced problems with my mother-in-law, I always reminded myself that nothing is impossible with the Lord ever present in my heart.

I know he will give me the strength in every difficult situation that comes my way. In whatever circumstances that confront me, it is our Lord who helps me overcome them. Since then this verse became a part of me specially in times of trials.

I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go" (Genesis 28:15). I travel most of the time and wherever I am I see to it that I have a constant communication with God. I ask guidance before I go and never fail to thank him upon reaching my destination safely. My strong faith in him keeps me and my loved ones safe all the time. I know the Lord is always with me and he answers all my prayers. I do not feel I am lucky but rather I would say I am blessed.
