Thought for the Week
|
||
Did I tell you that I love you?
Your endless love had started even before my own birth. Did I tell you that I love you?
From my first breath you have shown me your true delight. Did I tell you that I love you?
You gave me a beautiful name during my baptismal rite. Did I tell you that I love you?
You held my tiny hands so lovingly, when I started my first few, simple steps. Did I tell you that I love you?
At home, you were my best teacher ever, who taught me my first ABC tune. Did I tell you that I love you?
Your love for arithmetic has showed me how much you count on me, your favourite one! Did I tell you that I love you?
When I reached my adolescent years you doubled-up your care and protection. Did I tell you that I love you?
When the greatest decision needs to be made you asked me to slow down without question. Did I tell you that I love you?
And, the right time did come to pursue my dreams for my own satisfaction. Did I tell you that I love you?
You were so happy when you saw me packing-up my things for a new life to begin. Did I tell you that I love you?
We had our first and last gentle fight over one thing from which I could not get the meaning. Did I tell you that I love you?
But, all these precious moments between you and me have just stopped...forever! Did I tell you that I love you?
Yes, your death made us physically separated, but in my heart and memories, you are my SUPER DAD forever!
Happy Fathers day to all fathers!
