Final professions

Hong Kong (SE): It was an occasion of a great joy and blessing for the Sisters of St Paul of Chartres on 28 August 2011 when Sister Anne Dinh, Sister Marie Thai, Sister Florence Yi and Sister Maria Nguyen made their final profession at Christ the King Chapel in Causeway Bay.
Mass was celebrated by vicar general, Father Pierre Lam Minh MEP, five priests from Hong Kong and Vietnam. People from different parishes, as well as the Vietnamese community, came to share and witness this great moment for the four sisters.
Sister Anne, Sister Marie and Sister Maria made their first profession in 2005 and 2006 in Vietnam, prior to coming to Hong Kong in 2006. Sister Florence, who is Myanmese, completed her formation in Hong Kong, where she also made her first profession in 2005. During their formation, Sister Anne helped at St. Paul’s Hospital, while Sister Florence and Sister Maria worked in the primary section of St Paul’s Convent School, Causeway Bay.
Prayers were offered for the sisters asking that they will be faithful to their promises and serve in the spirit of St. Paul, trusting in the abundance of God’s grace and striving to be “all things to all people.”
