Graduation at Caritas Wu Cheng-chung Secondary School

HONG KONG (SE): Caritas Wu Cheng-chung Secondary School held its year-end graduation ceremony on July 6. Invited guests included Paul Zimmerman, a member of the Southern District Council for Pokfulam; Paulinus Lo, the school’s acting supervisor; Wing Sze Chau, principal of St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School; and Chiu Koon See, principal of Pui Tak Canossian Primary School
The event began with a prayer and readings from the Bible. Thanks were expressed to the guests for teaching, sharing with and encouraging the students.
Awards were presented to students in recognition of outstanding work in academics and services throughout the school year, and it is hoped that they will learn and grow from their experience, unleash their potential and have a breakthrough in the coming year. The joy was indescribable.
The most exciting moments were when the students came up on the stage to receive their awards.
Long-term service awards were also presented to the staff in thanksgiving for their contributions to the school, while the Parent Teacher Association also gave a thank you card to the teachers for their selfless dedication.
The final event was a performance by the students, which garnered a nice round of applause.
The students then sang the school song to bring the proceedings to a successful close.
