HONG KONG (SE): During a talk marking the 30th anniversary of the Tiananman Square massacre, Father Louis Ha Ke-loon urged people to live out the value of justice in memory of those who sacrificed their lives in the patriotic and democratic movement in Beijing in 1989.

Bring hope to those living in despair

HONG KONG (SE): “We need to help people. We have the ability granted by God to do so and we should use this to bring hope to those in despair,” Father Louis Ha Ke-loon urged at a prayer service for the housing problem in Hong Kong, held at New Asia College Memorial Garden, Sham Shui Po on March 22. The event was organised by the Justice and Peace Commission under theme, Remain hopeful in face of despair.

Seeking a fuller picture of China’s missionary history

HONG KONG (UCAN): An academic conference on the missionary history of the Paris Foreign Mission Society was described as filling a few gaps in the modern understanding of the development of the Catholic Church over the centuries in China.
