March for life in Seoul

HONG KONG (SE): As South Korea awaits the outcome on the Constitutional Court’s deliberations on the constitutionality of the country’s ban on abortions, the country’s seventh March for Life Korea, hosted by the Prolife Federation, was held at Myeongdong Cathedral on June 16, in opposition of any move to repeal the ban and in support of the rights of mothers and unborn children, the Committee for Communications of Archdiocese of Seoul reported.

Forty Days for Life

HONG KONG (SE): A group of over 50 people gathered at Holy Cross parish in Sai Wan Ho to join a two-hour March for Life through the streets of Hong Kong on March 20 to the offices of the largest abortion provider in the city, which is situated outside the Southorn Playground in Wanchai, where a brief candlelight vigil was held.

The Hong Kong Family Planning Association is a founding member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, which is the largest abortion provider in the world.

At annual March for Life, crowds show endurance and passion to continue

 

WASHINGTON (CNS): The tens of thousands of participants at the annual March for Life in Washington DC, the United States of America (US), demonstrated just how determined they were, not only by showing up in such large numbers on a bitterly cold day on January 25, but by continuing a 40-year tradition of protesting against the US Supreme Court’s landmark 1973 decision in the case of Roe v Wade, which opened the gates to legalised abortion.
