Bishops of Hong Kong and Macau discuss Sino-Vatican relations with pope

VATICAN (SE): Pope Francis met with Bishop Michael Yeung Ming-cheung and Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Ha Chi-shing of Hong Kong, together with Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-sang, bishop of Macau, during their ad limina visit on the morning of June 23 for an hour and 14 minutes the Chinese-language Catholic weekly, Kung Kao Po, reported.
 
Together with the pope and the Vatican secretary of state, Pietro Cardinal Parolin, they discussed the ongoing dialogue with China.

Pakistan’s bishops meet with pope

VATICAN CITY (CNS): Archbishop Joseph Arshad of Islamabad-Rawalpindi, recounted that sitting in a small circle in the papal library with four other bishops from Pakistan and Pope Francis felt like having a family discussion.
 
The archbishop, president of the Pakistan Bishops’ Conference, along with with Archbishop Joseph Coutts of Karachi; Bishop Samson Shukardin of Hyderabad; Archbishop Sebastian Shaw of Lahore; and Bishop Benny Mario Travas of Multan, met with the pope as part of their quinquennial ad limina visit to report the pope.
