If there is one thing that humans hunger and thirst for it is the truth. Knowledge is vital for human learning, survival, safety, progress and interpersonal and social relationships. At the beginning of humankind, knowing where in the forest to gather food, how to hunt and to be alert to danger was a life or death learning process.

Call to exorcise Pinochet from Chilean life

SANTIAGO (SE): On September 11, the 40th anniversary of the military coup which saw the democratically elected president of Chile, Salvador Allende, ousted and killed by the butcher general, Augusto Pinochet, the president of the Episcopal Conference of Chile, Archbishop Ricardo Ezzati Andrello, called on the nation to commemorate the tragic event by persevering on the path of truth, justice and reconciliation.
