First Genfest in Asia calls on love and sharing

MANILA (Agencies): Some 6,000 young people from over 100 nations participated in a three-day youth festival of sharing, music, art and concrete actions from July 6 to July 8 in Manila. 
 
The 11th edition of Genfest, the international youth festival of the worldwide Focolare Movement is the first such rally held in Asia and outside Europe.

The Jubilee Year of Mercy has been taken up with enthusiasm in the Church in China. 

Several bishops have addressed the subject in pastoral letters to their people and in individual communities there has been an up in the number of pilgrimages and prayer gatherings to reflect on the reality of the way mercy is practiced among their numbers.

Bringing the good news to the cloud

MANILA (SE): Bringing the good news to the cloud is one of the challenges identified by some 130 young Catholic Asians from 13 countries, who gathered in Manila, The Philippines, to celebrate the first ever encounter of the Claretian Family and the Youth of Asia East (AEYG + CF 2015) from August 3 to 8.
