God awards according to needs not merits
|
||
In the parable, the master provokes the anger of the workers of the first hour, who cannot even stand up for fatigue, when they are forced to witness an irritating scene of the same wages that they were promised being paid to the idlers. It is in this surprising and disconcerting behaviour of the master that the message of the parable is perceived. Let us analyse it deeper. |

Hindi pa huli kapatid!

Sa ating ebanghelyo sa Linggong ito ipinakita ni Hesus ang kanyang pagmamahal sa atin. Si Hesus ay pumarito sa mundong ito para tayo ay hanguin sa kasalanan at bigyan tayo ng tunay na kalayaan. Ang kaligtasan ay isang biyaya galing sa Diyos na ibinigay sa atin. Pero, kailangan din nating maki-pagtulungan sa kaligtasan ni Hesus. Ibig sabihin, kung gusto natin ng kaligtasan dapat handa tayong makilahok at tutulong sa gawain ni Hesus. |

Who serves is worthier than who prevails

In the first part of today’s gospel, an announcement of the passion is introduced: “The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him; but three days after he has been killed, he will rise” (Mark 9:31). |
