Vocation comes from solid spiritual formation

HONG KONG (SE): The Diocesan Vocation Committee organised a seminar on promoting vocations at St. Andrew’s parish, Tseung Kwan O, on April 2, where young people, teachers and religious were invited to share their views on how to build up a culture of vocation.

A colourful Indonesian Christmas

HONG KONG (SE): The Indonesian Catholic Community in Hong Kong celebrated Christmas with colour and song at Christ the King Chapel in Causeway Bay at a Mass on the afternoon of December 25, led by Bishop Michael Yeung Ming-cheung, and a morning worship service that featured well-known pop singer, Agustinus Gusti Nugroho, buoying spirits and setting the scene for a joyful day.

Pastoral centre for migrants smiles with a new face

HONG KONG (SE): The Diocesan Pastoral Centre for Filipinos put its newly renovated face on display for the first time on December 5 at a blessing ceremony and Mass celebrated by Bishop Michael Yeung Ming-cheung, together with the chaplain to Filipinos, Father Jay Flandez; and the chaplain to Indonesians, Father Heribertus Hadiarto; together with Father Jun Jacobe, Father Darwin Bayaca and Father Helmuth Peter.

Canossians celebrate jubilees

Hong Kong (SE): The Canossian Sisters celebrated with joy and gratitude the 60th anniversaries of Sister Giulia Brivio and Sister Maria Nichetti, and the 50th anniversary of entry into religious life of Sister Cecilia Lam on September 12.

Bishop Michael Yeung Ming-cheung concelebrated the Mass with three priests at the Canossian Missions Chapel at 3.00pm.
