Bishop Michael Yeung was truly a friend of the youth. It’s easy to assume that a person in his position and with his schedule would be distant and inaccessible. I never got that impression from him. |

Empowering the younger generation

He always had a peaceful ambiance surrounding him. Once he stepped into the room, there was always an empowering presence. Bishop Michael Yeung Ming-cheung looked up to the young people in Hong Kong and had strong motivation in trusting the inborn fire that the younger generation has for the future. |

Young people walk the way of the cross

A breezy Sunday afternoon served as the backdrop to the Hong Kong Diocesan English Youth (DEY) annual Way of the Cross pilgrimage to the Trappist Monastery on Lantau Island on February 28. Following a quick ride on the Kai To ferry, the group held a brief reflection and sang a hymn to prepare to process up the path of the 14 Stations of the Cross. |
